Teams receive 2 points for sinking a putt and the green team received 1 point for closest to the hole. We play 3 teams of 2 people. Fun for golfers of all ages and abilities.

The Rules:

• Teams can play 1-on-1, 2-on-2, 3 or 4 teams of 2 players (up to 8 players can play at once you must have 4 different color balls and an equal amount of balls for each team must be distributed)
• Each participant or member of the team is given 2 balls of identical color
• Pick a hole anywhere from 3 feet to 30 feet in distance on the green
• Stick a tee in the ground to represent the starting position
• Within roughly 1 foot from the TEE (no closer to the hole) each member of the team has 2 tries to sink the putt
• The golf balls are left in the position where they come to rest
• Players may choose to knock their opponent out of the closest position (if you knock in any other ball of any color the team who is knocked inside the hole will receive the points)
• The team putting order is done in rotation of team color until each member of the team has played his or her 2 putts.
• Who starts the next hole is determined by who gets the most points on the previous hole
• Points are awarded for the following:
  - First putt made 2 points
  - Each putt made after first putt 3 points - After each ball has been putt the team with the closest ball gets one point for each of its ball(s) that are closer to the intended hole than the other team's closest ball.

This game can be played to 11 for a shorter game and 21 for a more serious game. Bocce Golf will amuse you and the participants for hours at a time. You could have a competitive Bocce Golf Tournament at your facility or just play for fun. Bocce Golf is a fantastic way to improve your putting skills and add a little flare to any adult putting clinic or junior golf activity. I have played this game in both settings and every time it is a hit you will be surprised how much time flies by because of the fun and competitive nature of this practice.

• A putter or 2
• Solid Color Golf Balls
• 1 Golf Tee
